martin croweNew Delhi, Thursday, March 3 – People woke up to a shocking news on Thursday that informed about demise of Martin David Crowe, the Former New Zealand captain. Born on September 22, 1962, the 53 year old cricketer imparted huge role in making his team taste success on more than several occasions.

He hit 17 Test centuries and four One Day International hundreds throughout his career, making opponents feel the heat with his presence on the crease. The cricketer was diagnosed with lymphoma back in late 2012. He suffered cancer relapse in 2014.

Crowe breathed his last early today, leaving the entire cricket fraternity and his fans in absolute shock. A number of cricketers expressed their shock on Twitter for the iconic star of the New Zealand who gave 13 precious years of his time to cricket.
